Globesurfer III เป็น 3G Router ที่ยังคงคุณลักษณะของเครื่องโทรศัพท์ไว้ (FWT) และสามารถใช้ internet พร้อมๆ กันกับใช้โทรศัพท์ได้
การเชื่อมต่อ internet ในระดับความเร็ว HSDPA 7.2 Mbps และ HSUPA 5.7 Mbps และรองรับการเชื่อมต่อแบบไร้สาย (WLAN)
ทำให้เกิดความคล่องตัวต่อการใช้งานทั้งเครื่องตั้งโต๊ะ และโมบาย และตัวเครื่องมีขนาดเล็ก กระทัดรัด
นอกจากนี้ แล้ว ตัว Globesurfer III ยังสามารถรองรับการสำรองสาย (Failover) ของการใช้งานแบบเคเบิลต่างๆ ได้

"Notifier" software tool that resides on the Windows system tray or Mac OS launch bar, showing events occuring in the GlobeSurfer environment. Events could be text messages (SMS) being received, phone calls being missed, ADSL modems being connected or firmware updates taking place. The "Notifier" software is especially useful if the GlobeSurfer has been located in another room, or out of sight, and the interactive colour display is not within view.
