Asus Xonar Xense Soundcard with Sennheiser PC350 Headset
At CeBIT in Hannover, Germany, Asus has announced a range of gaming products. Of particular note is the smooth-unpronounceable Xonar Xense Headset which is a sound card combo and a pair of gaming headphones.
It is capable of pushing a 7Vrms seizing power through an integrated headphone amplifier that will undoubtedly do some serious damage to your ear. Of course, an explosion in real life could do the same thing, then we can say that this only provides greater realism. There 118dB sound clarity, and a number of standards are supported EAX, DirectSound, Dolby and others.
Asus also speaks his audio GX 2.5 Engine, which allows users to customize the sound profile of their game boxes to a particular kind focusing on different frequencies. We do not know when it will be available in Britain. Unfortunately, there is no word on release date and pricing.
