OC Phenom II x6 1090T

I tried to overclock but fail, pls help. IF not OC, MB will detect as 3.2GHz(CPU), 1333 9-9-9-24 MHz (RAM). I can run PRIME95 for a day without any problem.

But when I tried to push RAM to 2000 9-9-9-24 (Default RAM spec), without adjusting any multiplier, MB set CPU to 3.25GHz, but can run PRIME95 for 3 minutes only.

What is the multiplier/ bus speed/ Vcore I should try?



- Phenom II x6 1090T
- Asus M4A88TD-M/USB3
- ADATA DDR3 2,000MHz 9-9-9-24 (2x2GB)
- XFX Radeon HD4890 850MHz
- Antec Signature 650

its so difficult on amd system (i think bus ram spec 2000 can used on intel system )

my system use ram a-data 2000 G ( Same u ??)+asus M4A89GTD pro
but i can not run rambus 2000 on my system

I think you would to begin test with 1800mhz before.

I tried again last night krab..
Vcore= Auto
Multiplier = 18
bus = 200MHz
RAM= @ 2,000MHz at 9-9-9-24 (1.65Volt)
Ran PRIME95 for an hour without a problem (CPU temp was up to 58C though)
Will change the cooler and try to run PRIME95 again for 24 hours..
Any recommend cooler for this CPU? (Value for money one, Quiet is prefered)
