HDTV takes second place
And you thought 1080p was the cat's meow.
Astra Systems introduced the DM-3400 2160p 56" LCD monitor today. This beast has a 3840x2160 pixel resolution, making photographers drool everywhere. The monitor apparently has four channels of DVI and HD-SDI, and apparently supports quad-view (presumably of 1080p content).
This monster is aimed at "digital cinema and broadcast studio clients" - or those who have so much $$$ that they have no need to ask "how much".
