The first Nehalem representatives will become the four core Bloomfield LGA
1366 with three-channel memory controller and TDP level not more than 130
W , such processor will appear in the fourth quarter 2008, but in first half of
2009 will appear the more accessible four core processors Lynnfield (TDP=95 W)
and the dual core processors Havendale (TDP=75 W), which will have another
design concept (LGA 1160), and support only two Ddr-3 channel .
It is obvious that Nehalem processors generation will stay for a long time in
the upper price segments. Economical Intel users will preserve Penryn
generations processors , which will exist in parallel with Nehalem in the lower
price segments.
Bloomfield processors generation with four core in the fourth quarter this year
will be already in one price segment with Core 2 quad Q9550 (2.83 GHz).
This processor cost now $530 and in the third quarter the prices of Intel

motherboard. Bloomfield will use motherboard with the traditional layout,
