AMD is expecting to release their new video card Radeon HD 7990 in the first quarter of 2012. The successor of Dual GPU Radeon HD 6990 is expected to arrive at the North American market in March 2012.

The new card is rumored to cost about $849, the price looks a bit expensive, but AMD has already said that this should vary depending on the retailer. The card comes with 2x3 of memory GDDR5 running at 5 GHz, two chips at 850MHz from manufacturer Tahiti and also a 2x2048 stream processor.
