Gainward has announced its own GeForce GTX 580 to feature 3GB of GDDR5 memory. The new card bears the Phantom brand and, like its GTX 570 sibling, boasts a custom cooler with three 80mm PWM fans, six heatpipes, a copper base and 44 aluminum fins.

Palit Microsystems has developed a new GeForce GTX 580 model which packs 3GB (3072MB) of GDDR5 VRAM. Beside having double the regular amount of memory onboard, the card also comes with a custom cooler boasting two fans.
Palit's high-resolution-ready GTX 580 features 512 CUDA Cores, GPU and shader clocks of 783 MHz and 1566 MHz, respectively, a 384-bit memory interface, a memory frequency of 4020 MHz, dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, and provides support for DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.1, CUDA, PhysX, SLI and 3D Vision (Surround).
