Asus' MB with Lucid Hydra chip
the motherboard is based on AMD's 890FX chipset paired up with SB850 southbridge bringing native support for SATA 6Gbps. The USB 3.0 is also present thanks to that NEC controller chip that everyone likes. Other specifications include a total of five PCI-Express x16 slots, four DDR3 memory slots, single PCI slot, and a total of nine SATA ports.
As far as the features are concerned, the Crosshair IV Extreme will feature all the neat ones that we already seen on Asus' ROG branded motherboards. So you can expect dual BIOS option, ROG Connect and RC Bluetooth, on-board buttons for overclocking, reset and power, voltage measure points, as well as some new things like a switch for each of the PCI-Express x16 slots so you can simply turn the needed PCI-Expres slot on and off as you wish.
