In addition to its full line of Sandforce based solid state drives, OCZ has also announced a new version of its Colossus 3.5-inch SSD, the Colossus LT. The new LT version features 34nm MLC NAND flash chips, dual Indilinx controllers and maximum speeds of up to 260MB/s.
The new Colossus LT will be available in 128, 256, 512 and 1TB capacities and features an internal RAID 0, has 128MB of cache, and uses SATA 3.0Gbps interface. Thanks to 34nm MLC chips and dual Indilinx controllers can achieve maximum read/write speeds of up to 260MB/s, sustained write of 220MB/s and 15,000 IOPS with 4K random write.
It is backed by three years of warranty and should be available pretty soon. All four version are currently listed with a price tag that ranges from 338.56 for a 128GB one, all the way to 2874.64 for the 1TB version.
