The AMD 880G chipset has been getting some attention lately and the ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO motherboard has also managed to be seen before this new chipset has officially been announced. Have a quick look at the photo below and the others in the forums if you'd like to take a glance at this upcoming board that should work nicely with the six-core processors that come out later this month.
The upcoming AM3-ready board comes equipped with a core unlocking function, and the TurboV overclocking feature, includes the Express Gate instant-on OS, and boasts four DDR3 memory slots, the Radeon HD 4250 IGP backed with some SidePort memory, and two PCI-Express x16 slots (for CrossFireX setups). Asus' motherboard also has one eSATA and five SATA 6.0 Gbps ports, an EPU (Energy Processing Unit), two USB 3.0 connectors, 7.1 channel audio, a FireWire port, Gigabit Ethernet, as well as D-Sub, DVI and HDMI outputs. The M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 should be introduced in two - three weeks.
