XFX is a company who knows how to get attention so it's almost no real surprise that it decided to ship its upcoming Radeon HD 5970 4GB Eyefinity 6 Black Edition card in a box shaped like a sub-machine gun. Yes, sub-machine gun, what could go wrong there. Seen below in a few nice renders, the gun-packing (dual-Cypress card, which made its first appearance at CeBIT (without the piece), will be a limited edition item that's going to sell for $1,000.
There's no info regarding final clocks but the 1,000 to 1,500 HD 5970 4GB Eyefinity 6 Black Edition models will be gunning for performance crown so it should at least have its GPUs @ 850 MHz and its GDDR5 memory @ 4800 MHz. Retail dates for XFX's card are MIA too. For now.
