Intel's Core i7-930 is set for a February 28 debut but those who want the new LGA 1136 part can already purchase it from a variety of European stores. Set to retire the popular 920 model, the 45nm Core i7-930 has a four cores @ 2.80 GHz, eight threads, 8MB of L3 cache, an integrated triple channel DDR3 memory controller and a TDP of 130W.
The new CPU can be found priced at 254.86 Euro which is some 25 Euro higher than the i7-920.
