Intel Core i7 920 will be taken place by Core i7 930

Intel once launched three LGA 1366 Core i7 processors last year.While Core i7 965 EE has been replaced by i7 975 EE, i7 940 is being retired by i7 960. Now 2.66 GHz i7 920 bounds to confront the end of production and retired by a new model.


It is reported that i7 930 will be the successor to i7 920.The new CPU works at 2.88GHz and features four-core as well as 8 threads. i7 930 comes with 8MB of L3 cache and 3 channel DDR3 memory controller with a TDP of 130W.It is priced at $284.
