AMD debuts Athlon II X2 215
Current Athlon II X2 240 gains popularity among major consumers.However,it is not the CPU which has the lowest frequency.Athlon II X2 215,which seems not on official release list makes appearance.
Athlon II X2 215 works at 2.7Ghz with Socket AM3 interface.Dual core Athlon II X2 215 based on 45nm process has 13.5x multiplier,DDR2-800 and DDR3-1066/1333 memory controller.At the same time,it features 1MBx2 L2 cache with support for AMD64, SSE4A and AMD-V instruction sets.It is expected to be priced at below $59.
