The launch of Intel's Lynnfield trio (Core i5 750, i7 860, i7 870) is one month away but that hasn't stopped one model from making an early debut and start reaching stores. Priced at $196, the Core i5 750 has popped up in Taiwan and (at least) one lucky individual got a hold of it and took a few pictures for an early unboxing.
The yet to be officially released Core i5 750 comes in a Socket 1156 package, and features four cores working at 2.66 GHz, 8MB of L3 cache, an integrated dual channel DDR3 memory controller, a 95W TDP, and a maximum Turbo Boost frequency of 3.2 GHz. This model doesn't have HyperThreading support like the i7 860 and 870 but that's why it got 'stuck' with the i5 moniker. We'll just have two of those 2.80 GHz Core i7 860s please. Santa?
