Asus has just released a couple of Radeon HD 4890 cards which are based on AMD's reference design but, to be more appealing, boast a new feature called Voltage Tweak technology. According to Asus, Voltage Tweak will enable users to increase GPU voltages via the SmartDoctor application, and get up to 15% more power from their card. Other than that, the EAH4890/HTDI/1GD5 and EAH4890 TOP/HTDI/1GD5 include 800 Stream Processors, 1GB of GDDR5 memory and a 256-bit memory interface, a dual-slot cooler, CrossFireX support, ATI Stream, and dual-DVI connectivity.
Going for 229 Euro, the EAH4890/HTDI/1GD5 has GPU and memory clocks of 850 and 3900 MHz respectively, while the EAH4890 TOP/HTDI/1GD5, which can be found for 239 Euro is clocked at 900 and 4000 MHz.
