the XiR-2300 and XiR-3500 CPU coolers have now been updated by Nexus to include support for Intel Core i7 (LGA 1366) and AMD AM3 processors. Both measuring 106 x 122 x 111 mm, the second versions of the two coolers have the same design but make use of different material for their cooling fins, with the XiR-2300 going for aluminum while the XiR-3500 embraces copper.
The new old coolers also feature copper bases, four 6mm copper heatpipes, and a 92mm fan that works at speeds between 1200 and 2500 rpm (rotations per minute). In addition to supporting LGA 1366 and AM3 CPUs, the XiR-2300 and XiR-3500 can be hooked up to Intel LGA 775, AMD AM2, 754, 939 and 940 parts.
