MSI has now introduced two new custom Radeon HD 4870 models. Codenamed R4870-MD512 and R4870-MD1G, the 51MB and 1GB cards feature a reddish PCB, the now classic RV770 chip, and a nice, big, dual-slot cooling system equipped with a 90mm fan that works at about 2800 RPM and is set to provide both efficient and quiet cooling.
Also boasting Solid State Chokes (SSCs) for a more stable operation, the cards have 800 Stream Processors, DirectX 10.1 and CrossFireX support, and D-Sub, DVI and HDMI connectors. MSI hasn't said anything about frequencies but it's likely that the cards make use of stock clocks - 750 MHz for the GPU and 3600 MHz for the memory.
