Set on flexing its speech recognition muscles, search hegemon Google is to release a voice search application for Apple's iPhone. Said to arrive later today through the App Store, the software will make a recording of the user's request/question and send it to Google where speech recognition software turn it into 'regular' text search. Next up, the search will be processed and the results will be returned to the iPhone to be displayed.
The search application is said to work quite fast, especially on WiFi, but it remains to be seen whether or not it will be something usable on a regular basis. Good or not, it will be free to download and use with Google planning to bring it to other mobile devices in the coming months.

Google เองก็ออกมารับกระแส iPhone ด้วยการเพิ่มความสะดวกสบายให้แก่ผู้ใช้ด้วยแอพพลิเคชันดังกล่าว
