The Mulder maniacs at Alienware has now released a new high-end gaming laptop, the M17. Featuring a 17-inch 1920 x 1200 pixels LCD screen, the new laptop can be equipped with a Core 2 Duo/Quad/Extreme processors, and that includes the flagship QX9300, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, one or two Radeon HD 3870 cards, two 500GB in RAID 0, and either a DVD writer or a Blu-Ray drive.
The M17 also features WiFi and Gigabit Ethernet, two speakers backed by a subwoofer, a 7-in-1 memory card readers, three USB 2.0 ports and even an eSATA connector. Already on sale in North America and Europe, the M17 starts of at just $1,399 but at that price you'll only get a 17-inch LCD with a 1440 x 900 pixel resolution.
