We had a chance to take a look at the show put on by SoF and MusicIsMyLive, from Awardfabrik.de at the Games Convention. These guys had some fun with AMD's Phenom 9950 and managed to push it all the way to 4,050MHz, of course with a little help from an old overclocker's friend called the LN2. Overclocking was done on Foxconn's A79-S motheboard and powered by OCZ's 1000W PSU.
They also managed to break a record with the SuperPi done on Phenom. Their AMD Phenom 9550 clocked at 3952.1MHz managed to do the 1m SuperPi in 19.954 seconds. They even tried to push it even further so their top overclock result was 4,050MHz. Unfortunately, for they couldn't get CPU-Z validation due to some weird reason, but the guys at awardfabrik.de are looking into it.
