อยากอัพ firmware OCZ vector แบบไม่ต้อง format ได้ไหม

ใช้ OCZ vector มานานตั้งแต่อออกใหม่ๆ ไม่เคยอัพเลย อยากจะอัพบ้าง
แต่ลองไปอ่านของ OCZ บอกให้ format ด้วย ผมไม่อยากจะ format เลยเพราะต้องใช้ทำงานประจำ
มีวิธีอื่นไหมครับ หรือต้อง format อย่างเดียว

ถ้าเป็น Vector ไม่ต้อง format ครับ ทีแค่บางรุ่นและบาง firmware เท่านั้น ที่ update firmware แล้วข้อมูลหาย ลองดูตอนที่โหลด firmware/ocz tool ได้เลยครับว่าตัวไหนแฟลชแล้วหายบ้าง ที่แน่ ๆ ไม่ใช่ Vector

ในเว็บมันบอกแบบนี้เลยครับ ผมเลยใจไม่ดี

ผมโหลด OCZ Toolbox มาแล้ว สามารถอัพบนวินโดวส์ได้เลยไหมครับ

ความเร็วขนาดนี้ ถ้าอัพแล้วจะเร็วกว่านี้ไหมครับ X61090T + M4A88TD Vevo sata 3 + RAM 8GB Bus 1600
SSD Vector 256GB มีข้อมูลประมาณ 100GB ย้าย pagefile ไป drive อื่น

อัพก็ไม่เร็วขึ้นหรอกครับ มันอัพเพื่อแก้ปัญหา ลองดู Release Notes ก็ได้ว่าแก้อะไรบ้าง

ขออภัยด้วยที่ตอนแรกบอกว่า Vector อัพ firmware ไม่ต้อง secure erase เพราะผมเองก็ไม่ได้เข้าไปเช็คนานแล้ว จำได้ว่า 3.0 มันออกมาสักพัก ยังไม่ทันได้อัพเดตก็ปลดออกจากหน้าเวปไป(ไม่รู้มีปัญหาอะไรไหม) จากนั้นก็กลับไปเป็น 2.0 ที่ไม่ต้อง secure erase ก็อัพได้
ตอนนี้ 3.0 กลับมาอีกแล้ว!? ครั้งแรกไม่มีบอกว่าต้อง secure erase ด้วยนะเออ สรุปว่านี่ 3.0 ที่เท่าไหร่?

เอาเป็นว่าผมไม่อัพล่ะ 2.0 ใช้ได้ไม่มีปัญหา

แปลเป็นไทยแบบเข้าใจง่าย
- แก้ปัญหาเรื่องไฟกะชากแล้วพัง(แก้ได้ไม่ได้ว่ากันอีกที)
- แก้ติด password เข้าไม่ได้(ของบางเครื่อง)
- ปรับปรุง garbage collection ช่วยให้ไดร์ฟใช้ได้ดีขึ้น (แต่ไม่ได้ benchmark แล้วความเร็วเพิ่มขึ้น)
- ปรับปรุงเสถียรภาพของไดร์ฟ

ข้อควรระวัง firmware นี้ต้องทำการ secure erase ก่อนแฟลช ถ้าไม่ทำข้อมูลอาจเสียหายได้ << ดังนั้นทำเถอะครับ ถ้าเขาบังคับมาแบบนี้

1. แบ๊คอัพข้อมูล
2. ใช้ OCZ Toolbox ทำ Secure Erase
3. ฟอร์แมตไดร์ฟ
4. อัพเดต firmware ใหม่ลงไป
