What i mean is primary for the HDTune benchmark itself, not for the RAID Array. When you decrease the Blocksize in HDTune, it slows down the benchmark. When you increase it, it will not be slowed down.
When i use 16KB Blocksize in HDTune with my WD6400AAKS-65A7B0, i get only a maximum/avarage speed of 50-60MB/s, and with setting 32KB its about 93MB/s max.
With 64KB i get the maximum speed of 114MB/s.
But with your raid array it should maybe be even higher blocksize.
