Shaper's Guardians are located in grade 16 maps. These maps are available right in the poe currency center of your Atlas. There are four maps, and four distinct Guardians in them. Each of them have an entirely different set of motions, and all these will surely destroy you when you are not prepared.
Let's start with the easiest one: Hydra. She's an archer that will keep you on your feet. She's a barrage style move that forces up prior to discharging, and it kills nearly anyone if they all connect. She has an incredibly strong arrow, which can be denoted by a power up. It will around 5,000 harm, and is nothing to scoff at. As you're dodging these moves and attacking her, the place is also constantly spawning Frostbolts for you to dodge. That said, this is the simplest guardian fight, since all the powerful moves are telegraphed.
Chimera isn't too hard, if you know his mechanics. He only takes a very long time to fight, and contains plenty of phases. For the most part he will only hit you in the face, and most of his attacks do not do too much damage. When you get him down to 75%, 50%, and 25%, he will disappear and you have to manage small mobs for a while. The only attack he's that is genuinely frightening is that his smoke cloud. He'll disappear and you have to path of exile wiki run into each smoke cloud till he hits you and then reappears. Aside from that, he is a breeze.
Phoenix is probably the most simplistic of the group, but also very deadly. He's got an attack that whirls forwards that you need to dodge, otherwise you turn into a pancake. He also has an insanely powerful fire explosion he charges up for before discharging, so steer clear of the. His only other interesting mechanic is he spawns phoenixes around the room. You'll likely want to clear all of them at some stage.
