UEFI vs Legacy boot I would use legacy with CSM enabled and all devices forced to legacy mode. Using UEFI mode makes your BIOS detect the hard drive as "Windows Boot Manager" instead of "C Drive" and seems to feel worse response wise. I'm not sure if it's the boot manager itself that causes this, or the BIOS and it's UEFI secure boot functions. The mouse usually feels like your PC has been root kitted, similar to if you install one of those Windows cracks. Don't use those either.
