Intel Broadwell CPUs have been available since the past few months now but only for ultrabooks. The desktop Broadwell processors are only expected to arrive by the second quarter. However, you don?t need to wait so long to find out all the details of the new CPU lineup as our sister site Chinese VR-Zone have gotten their hands on the list of Broadwell desktop CPUs that will debut soon.
The first Broadwell Desktop SKUs will comprise of 65W TDP CPUs that will include both Core-i5 as well as Core-i7 models. The two new 1150 socket processors will be the Core-i5 5675C and the Core-i7 5775C. There will also be BGA package CPUs such as the Core i5 5575R, Core i5 5675R, and the Core i7 5775R. All of these processors will come with the integrated Iris Pro 6200 GPU.
The Core i5 5675C will feature a base frequency of 3.1 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.6 GHz. The Core i7 5775C will have a base frequency of 3.3 GHz and Turbo Boost frequency of 3.7 GHz. As you can see on the chart below, the i7 5775C comes with 6MB L3 cache size while the i5 5675C comes with 4MB L3 cache.
