According to a report from HWBattle.com, the GM107-300 GPU, which the GTX 750 is based on, is no longer available so Nvidia will supply its AIB partners with a cut-down version of the GM206 GPU, known as the GM206-150-A1. Although both GPUs have the same amount of CUDA cores, 512, it will probably end up with a higher ROP count in order to keep the 128-bit memory interface.
With the new GM206 GPU, the new GTX 750 will also be getting some new features including HDMI 2.0 support, Dynamic Super Resolution, VXGI, VR Direct, MFSAA anti-aliasing, Multi-Pixel Programming Sampling as well as support for DirectX 12 API, feature level 12_1
