สอบถาม slot PCIe ของ mainboard ตัวนี้หน่อยครับ

Mainboard Hewlett Packard 0A60H (เก่าพอสมควร)
คือมันมี slot PCIe x16 อยู่
แต่.. ผมไปเช็คในสเป็คของ mainboard ตรง slot มันเขียนว่า..
(This connector has the physical appearance of a PCI Express x16 slot however, conventional PCIe cards are not supported in this (SDVO/ADD2) connector)

แล้วตรงใต้ slot มันเขียนว่า support only ADD2
แล้ว ADD2 มันคืออะไร คือถ้าผมซื้อการ์ดจอตัวที่มันเป็น PCIe มันจะ support ไหมครับ

ปล.คือมันมีเหตุจำเป็นนิดหน่อยจึงต้องใช้ตัวเก่าครับ เลยมาขอคำแนะนำ...

แปลว่า ถึงแม้ว่า Slot นี้ หน้าตาภายนอกมันจะดูเหมือน PCIe x16 slot แต่มันใช้ไม่ได้กับ PCIe การ์ดทั่วไป

และถ้า slot มันบอกว่า ใส่ได้เฉพาะ ADD2 Card ก็แสดงว่า ใส่ PCIe VGA Card ปกติไม่ได้แน่นอนครับ

ADD2 คือ Advanced Digital Display 2

ADD2 Card เป็น card ที่นำเอา สัญญาณ SDVO (Serial Digital Video Output) เอามาออกเท่านั้น

เช่น ถ้า MB มีแต่ connector VGA ซึ่งเป็น Analog อย่างเดียว
แต่เราอยากได้ connector ที่เป็น Digital อย่าง DVI เราสามารถใช้ ADD2 Card เสียบที่ MB
ตัว ADD2 Card จะนำสัญญาณ Digital Video จาก Chipset มาออกบนหัว DVI บนตัวการ์ดมันเองได้

หน้าตา ADD2 Card เป็นแบบนี้ครับ
