เตือนท่านที่ใช้สาย HDMI กับจอภาพนะครับ

ท่านทราบหรือไม่ว่าการ์ดจอเวลาท่านเสียบจอกับสาย HDMI มันจะ Detect ว่าเป็น TV ไม่ใช่จอคอม

ทำให้มันส่งสัญญาณภาพไปผิดๆ แทนที่จะเป็น full range RGB 0-255 กลับส่งไปเป็น limit range RGB 16-235 ทำให้สีไม่สวยเท่าที่ควร และภาพจะมีปัญหาความไม่สมประกอบครับ

ทดสอบได้ที่นี่นะครับ

ถ้าเป็น 0-255 ถูกต้อง การไล่เฉดควรจะสวยงามไม่มีเส้นขาวๆ มาคั่นครับ

ถ้ามีเส้นมาคั่นเยอะๆ แสดงว่าท่านเจอ 16-235 เข้าแล้ว แก้ไขดังนี้ครับ

nVidia 0-255 HDMI Full RGB Range without custom resolution - EASY tool!

This is for nVidia HDMI port and Display Port users only and does not apply to DVI port users. It also applies to those who connect an HDMI/Display Port device to a DVI port through an adapter.

nVidia does not offer the option to use 0-255 RGB range via HDMI through the control panel and defaults RGB range to 16-235 for many people. There is an option in nV control panel in "Adjust video color settings/Dynamic range" that deals with RGB range, but it is effective only for DVI users and does not change anything for HDMI users.

You can check whether you are using 0-255 range or 16-235 range by going here - http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/gradient.php and verifying whether you see banding or not. Banding means you are likely using 16-235 range. No banding means you are most likely using 0-255 range. However, the banding test is sometimes affected by other monitor/HDTV calibrations.

You can adjust your HDTV to either range (usually via Black Levels setting/option in HDTV menu), but with 0-255 you get more shades of black/grey/white. PC software and PC media are more likely to use (or designed for) 0-255 range, while consoles and TV media are more likely to use 16-235 range.

There was a good old way to force 0-255 range via a registry entry that you can read about here - http://www.thegreenbutton.tv/forums/...=1637&start=20 but it no longer works with 310.33 drivers (at least for me).

I know of other more tedious ways to fix the problem (posted below), but by chance I came around this blog, where you can download an easy tool for changing RGB 16-235 range to RGB 0-255 range or vice versa - http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?p=83

You can also use a custom resolution with refresh rates of 59Hz or 61Hz, but that causes flickering for some people.
