ใครเคยต่อ Sata port แบบผ่าน chip อื่นที่ไม่ใช่ของ intel/amd บน board บ้างครับ

ช่อง sata ของ intel เต็มแล้ว แต่ยังเหลือของ marvell 2 ช่อง แต่จะต่อ 6 TB อีกลูกลงช่องนี้ ของ intel ต่อ 6 TB 2 ลูกแล้วไม่มีปัญหาอะไร
แต่เจอเว๊บฝรั่งพูดเกี่ยวกับ 32-bit LBA limitation ผ่านพวก third party chipset พวกนี้ (Eng ข้างล่าง)
ถ้า driver มันไม่รองรับ เลยชักหวั่นๆ กลัวข้อมูลหายกลายเป็น RAW เมื่อเขียนเกิน 2 TB ขึ้นไป แนะนำด้วยครับ
Note that if your driver has a 32-bit LBA limitation, then your 3TB drive will be a data loss time bomb that will go off when you try to write data beyond the 2TiB point. It would interesting to see how a disc editor such as DMDE (freeware) detects the 3TB drive's sector range. If it detects an 800GB drive, then this would be of serious concern and would confirm the existence of a 32-bit LBA limitation.
