  • Overclocking and enabling PBO worth it for 5600X?

I had 3700x before and people here on overclock zone as well as reviewers on YouTube they said its not worth OC'ng because there will be no real gain with added CPU temp. So I always used it PBO disabled in BIOS.
I recently got 2 5600x from Amazon at 299$ (feeling happy) Is it worth OC'ng or enabling PBO? I have MSI B450 Tomahawk Max; cooling with Scythe Fuma 2.
I assume with OC and PBO enabled there will be increased temp - but how much more temp are we talking here 10-15? Pls advice.

Ryzen 5000 Serie zen 3 is the worst manual overclock

You should get a good CPU cooler and open PBO with Curve optimizer
    All Core > - Negative > -30 -25 -20 -15 -10 << Higher is better << (It depend on silicon lottery of your CPU)

It gives you a higher single core clock speed up to 5 GHz

An easy method to check the stability of your system is to run CPU-Z for check score or run Cinebench R20/23

Let check out this dude VDO below for guideline

      Thanks
      i had 3700x before change to 5600x

      here are my settings 5600x
      enable pbo to = advanced
      pbo limit = motherboard
set scale = x10 (x10 can help you heavy load pbo all core to high mhz long time, if not stable you can change to x4 or x1 )
      pbo set to = 200mhz
set platform thermal throttle limit = 255
curve optimize setting = negative per core you can find value curve for core, value high is better(It depends on your cpu) for up to all core when heavy load such as curve negative 25 all core you can make heavy load all core 4.6-4.7ghz

answer setting = 5600x can boost single core = 4.85ghz and heavy load all core 4.6-4.7 when you can set curve negative 25 all core

note* 5600x can boost single core up to 5ghz but not all model motherboard

so sorry my english is bad
