EA เยอรมันสร้างปฏิทินพิเศษ Need for Speed Hot Pursuit ร่วมกับนิตยสารไลฟ์สไตล์ผู้ชาย FHM ซึ่งคาดว่าสาวสวยทั้งหลายจะโพสท่าบนรถสปอร์ตหรูในแต่ละเดือน

นักวิเคราะห์ผิดหวัง ผู้ผลิตล้มแผนเก็บเงินเกม Call of Duty




Michael Pachter นักวิเคราะห์จากสำนักวิจัย Wedbush Morgan แสดงความเห็นถึงระบบออนไลน์เกม Call of Duty โดยเฉพาะโหมดมัลติเพลเยอร์ อันเป็นโอกาสทองของการเพิ่มรายได้บริษัท โดยระบุว่าทางบริษัทกลับละทิ้งการทำบริการเสริมเกมออนไลน์

Pachter กล่าวรู้สึกผิดหวังที่ Eric Hirshberg CEO คนใหม่ของ Activision กลับปฏิเสธที่บริษัทจะเก็บค่าบริการสำหรับโหมดมัลติเพลเยอร์

ตนเชื่อว่าจนกว่าที่ผู้ผลิตเกมตัดสินใจเลือกเก็บค่าบริการเกมในมัลติเพล เยอร์จะทำให้ยอดขายเกมเพิ่มขึ้นต่อเนื่องและเพิ่ม Value สื่อบันเทิงมากขึ้นเท่าที่เคยมีมา Pachter ยังมองอีกว่า การเก็บค่าบริการเกมในมัลติเพลเยอร์ถือว่าเป็นโอกาสทองของบริษัท และตนคิดว่ามันจะผ่านพ้นไปได้และรับโอกาสทองนี้ไป

ก่อนหน้านั้น มีรายงานข่าวว่า Activision มีแผนการเก็บค่าบริการออนไลน์ของเกม Call of Duty แต่ทาง Hirshberg ออกมายืนยันว่า ทางบริษัทไม่มีแผนและไม่เคยคิดจะเก็บค่าบริการด้วย

EA มองเล่นเกมคนเดียว หมดยุค! โดนเล่นออนไลน์แทนที่แล้ว



Frank Gibeau ประธานบริษัท EA Games กล่าวถึงเทรนด์การเล่นเกมออฟไลน์ โดยขณะนี้เกมออนไลน์มีส่วนสำคัญและเป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่ทำให้เกมประสบความสำเร็จ ตอนนี้ และมองว่าเทรนด์การเล่นโหมดผู้เล่นคนเดียวถือว่าล้าหลังและหมดยุคไปแล้ว

Gibeau กล่าวว่า ระบบการเล่นแบบออนไลน์ อาทิโหมด Co-Op ที่ให้ผู้เล่นด้วยกันฝ่าฟันด่านเกมไปให้ถึงเส้นชัยหรือโหมดมัลติเพลเยอร์ ประลองกำลังระหว่างผู้เล่น หรือมีระบบให้บริการบนออนไลน์นั้น เป็นอีกสิ่งที่มอบความสะดวกสบายพร้อมยกระดับการเล่นเกมและสร้างสังคมการพูด คุยระหว่างผู้เล่นด้วยกัน เมื่อหากเทียบกับการเล่นเกมโหมดคนเดียวที่ยิงศัตรูเพื่อผ่านด่าน, เล่นเก็บไอเทมล้ำค่าดูต่างหน้าคนเดียว และใช้เวลาการเล่นเพียง 25 ชั่วโมง ตนมองว่ามันหมดยุคกับการเล่นเกมประเภทนี้แล้ว เช่นเดียวกันกับเกม เกม Dead Space 2 ได้มอบโหมดการเล่นทั้ง 2 แบบ

Gibeau ยังทิ้งท้ายว่า ระบบออนไลน์เป็นระบบที่คู่ควรและอยู่ในตำแหน่งที่เหมาะสมสำหรับต่อผู้เล่นแล้ว

เกม Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim ขายวันที่ 11 พฤศจิกายน 2011


Bethesda ประกาศเปิดตัวเกม Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim เกม RPG ฮาร์ดคอร์ย้อนยุคไปยังยุคกลาง ภาคใหม่ล่าสุด กำหนดวางจำหน่ายวันที่ 11 พฤศจิกายน 2011

ภายในเทลเลอร์เกม Elder Scrolls V ได้พาไปยังถ้ำแห่งหนึ่งอันโอ่งโถงจากนั้นกำแพงถ้ำกำลังถล่มลงมา ส่งผลให้มังกรที่เคยหลับใหลตื่นขึ้นมา พร้อมขึ้นชื่อเกมอย่างเป็นทางการว่า Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

เกมมีอาการ Cash และเด้งหลุดบ่อยมากๆ ในตอนเวอร์ชั่นแรกๆ ค่าต่างๆ อยู่ดีๆ ก็คูณสองถึงห้าเท่า AI. ออกอาการเอ่อๆ ท้งการรบและการทูตในเวอร์ชั่นแรกๆ ถึงสิ่งเหล่านี้จะแก้ไขไปแล้วใน Patch ล่าสุด แต่ตอนแรกผมเจอบั๊กเกมนี้มากกว่า Black Ops ซะอีก
