โฆษก CDProjekt Red ออกมาบอกว่าคีย์เกม Witcher 3 ที่ขายอยู่บนเว็บ GreenManGaming ไม่ได้ซื้อจาก GOG และการซื้อคีย์จากเว็บนี้ ทาง CDProjekt และ GOG จะไม่ได้เงินเลย
และยังไม่รู้ว่า GMG ไปเอาคีย์มาจากไหน

Business development manager ของ CDProjekt Red ก็ออกมาโพสในเว็บบอร์ดว่าอย่าซื้อคีย์ Witcher 3 จากเว็บนี้

อ่านแล้วรู้สึกแปลกๆนะ ไม่อยากเชื่อว่า GMG จะขายคีย์เทาๆแบบนี้
แอบรู้สึกตะหงิดๆว่า CDProjekt Red ออกมาดิสเครดิตเว็บนี้เพื่อตัดขาคู่แข่งยังไงก็ไม่รู้ หรือไม่ก็เข้าใจอะไรผิดกับแบบมึนๆ แต่ที่คิดอย่างนั้นอาจจะเพราะผมไม่อยากยอมรับว่า GMG ขายคีย์แบบเทาๆก็ได้มั้ง

GMG chose to essentially go around CD Projekt RED by acquiring digital copies of the game from third parties and retailers that were approved by CD Projekt RED. According to Sulyok, this means that CD Projekt RED is getting the revenue from sales of these games, and that any additional discount is absorbed by GMG. Earlier today, CD Projekt RED told GameSpot it was getting "zero" revenue from these sales.

ตรงนี้เละที่น่าสนใจทำไม GMG ถึงไปซื้อ Keys จาก Third Parties แทนที่จะซื้อจาก Publisher อย่าง CD Projekt โดนตรง

เค้าบอกว่าติดต่อกับทาง CDProjekt อยู่เกือบครึ่งปี แต่ทาง CDProjekt ไม่ยอมขายให้ร้านขายเกมแบบ Digital หลายๆร้าน เพราะอยากเก็บไว้ขายบนแพลตฟอร์มของตัวเองอย่าง GOG มากกว่า
ก็คงจะอยากกันท่าคู่แข่งแหละ เพราะ GMG ชอบลดราคาเกมที่ให้ Preorder อยู่แล้ว ถ้า GOG ขายให้ GMG คนส่วนหนึ่งก็จะแห่ไปซื้อกับ GMG กัน ทาง GOG ก็จะได้เงินไม่เต็มที่

ตอนนี้ก็อยากรู้ว่าที่ GMG ซื้อคีย์จาก Retailer นี่ ตามกฎหมายมันทำได้หรือเปล่า ซึ่งก็น่าจะขึ้นอยู่กับว่าข้อตกลงของทาง Retailer นั้นๆมีสิทธิ์ขาย Witcher 3 ขนาดไหน

ความเห็นรองสุดท้ายของ moderator ของ CDProjekt ก็พูดขึ้นมาลอยๆว่า GMG เคยซื้อคีย์ Steam ที่ถูกขโมยมาสองรอบแล้ว แล้วก็ไม่บอก source ไม่บอกอะไร แล้วก็ล็อกกระทู้ไปเลย
(ส่วนความเห็นสุดท้ายเป็นของคนจาก CDProjekt อีกคน เลยมีความเห็นเพิ่มได้ ทั้งๆที่กระทู้โดนล็อกไปแล้ว)
ซึ่งเท่าที่ติดตามข่าวมา GMG ไม่เคยโดนอะไรแบบนี้เลย เหมือน CDProjekt จู่ๆก็ดิสเครดิต GMG อย่างไม่มีหลักฐานอ่ะ

ทุกอย่างของเหตุการณ์นี้มันรู้สึกเหมือน Dev ออกมาพูดขึ้นเองโดยไม่ได้ให้ฝ่าย PR กลั่นกรองก่อนอ่ะ
